Edinburgh based producer Lyall Anderson has been writing electronic music for over 5 years now.

After leaving his small home town of Kirriemuir, Lyall went to study music at Perth College and then onto SAE Glasgow to study audio engineering. After graduating he became involved with the Audacious Crew and moved through to Edinburgh to pursue his music. Lyall’s music has a very organic and original sound which he developed whilst studying at SAE Glasgow.

His debut album “Splendid Isolation” due for release on Ideation Records soon paints a picture of his life while in the studio working on this release. He spent a year locked away crafting his sinister beats and isolated himself from the outside world. The tracks reflect all the different emotions he went through as he drove himself closer to the point of insanity on his quest for perfection, resulting in a very powerful and emotional album. His style ranges from down tempo ambient to complex IDM.

He also writes his own blend of nasty DnB under the alias PhetaMean which will also be featured on Ideation in the coming months.

Lyall has played alongside some well known artists including Dev/Null (Cock Rock Disco), Rotator (Peace Off), Raxyor, Koolmorf Widesen, Alan Titmash, Charly Linch, Kamerat Tord (death$ucker), Ars Dada (Cock Rock Disco), Vinyl Vandal (Noizetek), Scamp (Mindsaw), J Bostron, Simon Korfunkle and Architeq (Tirk) to name a few.

Lyall is also to be featured on LoveLove Records forthcoming compilation “Nightsurgeons” alongside Chevron, The Teknoist, The Doubtful Guest, Ebola and more.
