Gavin Hislop
[Gavin Hislop website]
Born deep in the countryside and educated in the typical manner, Gavin Hislop is a composer of all genres, from melodical classical music to complex electronic arrangments and eveything inbetween save for polka-surf-trance.
Gavin began composing using computer machines in 2005 under the breakcore/jungle moniker ‘Babyshaker’. Quickly becoming diss-interested of the lack of musicallity expressed in the scene, he began creating musical arrangments under the seemingly less crass guise of his birth-given name. Gavin scores for film, animation and television, having his audio/visual collaborations published in Computer Arts Magazine, Stash Magazine and also premiering in Brick Lane in London, which was quite nice for him too. Gavin builds much of his software for production and performance inside Reaktor and enjoys geeking the fuck right oot on a wintery countryside eve.
